Chutney
Chutney is a condiment made of vinegar, sugar, spices, and fruits with vegetables puréed or coarsely chopped. In the group of chutneys, we find Latin salsas, the American relishes and my personal favorite ketchup. Traditionally chutney is a meat companion during cooking or as a glaze or side dish after the meat is cooked, but there are no rules or limits on how to use chutneys.
The word chutney comes from the Indian language and is used because the mango chutney became popular with the English when they colonized India. There are many mangos and lots of spices in India so therefore you get Mango Chutney.
Spice up your dish with some of these fragrant and sweet chutneys!
