The Kern Road Farm Kitchen produces over one hundred products year round with seasonal choices.  Our signature and world savored is raspberry jam.  We originally started making raspberry condiments from our fifteen acre raspberry farm in l990, which we have now been replanted. We include heirloom and hard-to-find items as well as products you specifically may request.

How do we get our jam and other condiments to taste so good or like Grandma used to make it? In our kitchen we believe in hand preparation of all the produce that is ONLY cooked in small batches.  For example, a batch of jam makes seven jars at a time. Nancy personally makes each batch of jam, syrup, vinaigrette, barbecue sauce, and chutney in the farm’s Michigan Department of Agriculture certified commercial kitchen. We use cane sugar, champagne wine vinegar, fresh or frozen fruit, and local produce when available.  Another quality that makes our products so tasty is that we prefer to use produce from local Michigan’s farmer. Using produce from local farmers whenever possible has proven to give our products the best favor.
